I know this is an older thread but it popped up and i thought i'd comment. I have a 175 lb tow behind and do wish it were bigger...lol.It works fine but needs refilled more than i like. I looked into a 3pt hitch spreader and then thought....my neighbors like to borrow my stuff quite often. If i got a 3 pt spreader they would be asking to use it and my 650 and there's no way their getting their hands on my jd.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Had puter failure. I dont plan on using the blower much, got a plow on my truck but thought I might play with it a little when the snow hits. I'll try it and add front weights until i get the right match. Again, thanks for all the response.

I think youve found the answer. It must have been one of the ones in the pic link. He said it was a JD and had the mower out front. Thanks for the quick response guys. I knew you'd have the answer.

Just kind of wondering if anyone knew the rpms for the electric front pto on a 650. I know the rear is 540 but thought maybe the front might be different.

Anybody know if any other front snowblowers can be modified to fit the front of my 650 ? i've been looking for a front mount blower for quite a while (as long as i've had my 650,15 yrs) and i've yet to find one thats a direct bolt on. I've got a rear mount snow blower but its a pain in the neck (really !) to have to look behind all the time to blow snow. I was hoping to be able to get a front mount by the time the snow flies this winter. Any suggestions ?
