RR you will need some meat in the middle of the bucket to attach a hook with out bending things when you use it.

I would also suggest a good piece of angle across the top edge of your bucket. That area is also a little light.

That is a very interesting link. And timely, a neighbor asked me last night about a small loader bucket for a lawn tractor. Just wants to dip into a mulch pile or topsoil pile.

Yes. Open a new Paint file. Leave it blank and save the blank image as a J-peg on your desktop.

Then download the blank j-peg to over-write any picture you want to delete. It will totally clear the image and does not post itself as another picture.

I am sure Dennis has some more technical way... but this works.

I just purchased a Kubota L3130HST with a 723A FEL. I also ordered the quick attach/detach for the bucket. During my first hour of operation, I found the HST tranny to be a little difficult at times to change gears, such as going from L TO M TO H. Is it normal to have to nudge the tractor a bit to get the tranny to slip into the next gear?<br>
With this being my first Kubota and Diesel tractor, I'd appreciate any tips or information from you L3130HST owners or others that will make my tractor experience enjoyable. Thanks in Advance ---- Jim

Back to the original post, itsgottabegreen, you have social problems. I fail to see what that has to do with injuring yourself. If you are not old enough to drink - then you are bound to have social problems. I had social problems until I was 28 at which time I got married.

I still have social problems but the wife I chose doesn't view them as social problems. Other people still do think I have social problems. I just don't worry about my social problems so much anymore. Keep a positive outlook and keep on truckin' :)

Maybe one of you tractor wizards can help...I think I overfilled the oil by a quart or so..Now my Bx2200 doesn't want to start. Turns over fine and trys to start. {Yes I changed the oil and refilled to the proper level.}It almost starts but acts like its not getting fuel...Yes the tank is almost full from last weeks fullup.....Any ideas I've given up tonite after trying to start it 15 times or so.

I also looked at a new Cub Cadet 5254 25hp (gas engine) with Loader asking for $10,700.

My question is how does the gas engine compare to diesel engine?

What is the kubota or Deere equivalent (not just horsepower, but actual ability to do work - torque, hydraulics)?

Hey everyone, we have decided to sell our Kioti as it is more than we need. This Kioti has has the enclosed cab with Air, Heat, stereo, cassette, nice......it also has the shuttle shift, Loader and bucket. We bought is brand new in 2002 and it has only 240 hours on it. I have since driven down with my truck and tools and pulled the spark plug, grounding it to the head. I do not see a spark when I crank it so I think I will replace the plug, coil, condenser and points.<br>

They are all the original so they are overdue. Now does anyone know what the setting for the points is, and how it is set relative to timing? Or maybe I should punt on the points, I used to do it on cars with my timing light, or an MGB with the flywheel index. How is it done on a one clylinder kohler?

Art,

Thanks for your input however both manufactures have a 1year warrantee. When I look at the specs of the Woods vs. Kubota and Woods appears to have more "Heavy duty" build in all categories plus $500 cheaper in price. I'm looking for some real life experience or technical info to help guide me in making the right choice.

Thanks, Mark. The factory kit is better integrated, but it has the disadvantage that the loader and TnT controls are mutually exclusive and it's more expensive. Sometimes I operate the joystick with the diverter switch in the wrong position which messes me up.

After the post I done some checking and you are right, pretty spendy. A bee keeper suit is only $100 and may be an option for when I "know" I will be in a bad location.
Thanks for your efforts, I am going to talk to my dealer and tell him to put me on a waiting list for any cab he sees or finds in the future that is used and just needs to get rid of. Who knows maybe he will get one in and sell it off a trade?
