Kubota's new mini Z's are something to compare the rest of the industry too. It's probably the first time that I have seen that Kubota might have gone into a already active market. They have learned well from the current market place to build a couple of nice zero turns with features the others don't offer.

For rocks I use a 'backhoe thumb'. With my BX I've grabbed and moved granite rocks up to about 2 feet diameter, several hundred pounds. You've got to be very careful driving with a heavy rock in the backhoe!

hope for only a gasket, there only $42.00. a new head is $724.00. if it's cracked i'd see if a local machine shop could weld it up, then trade. what was he doing? diesels usually only over heat when overworked, maybe he needs a larger tractor.

I have a Kubota BX23 and have not had a problem with the situation you describe with either the HST or the brake. When I am ready to drop the load from the loader, I use the brake when I am pointed downhill. Then simply move my right foot immediately to the reverse drive pedal to begin backing up. Remember that you have a differential lock pedal on the left, if necessary, to help during your reverse. If the brake were on the left, how would one get to the differential lock pedal?

got to thinking about this e hydro. what is the signal going to the xh valve?4-20ma or 0-10vdc? by add a valve to the steering in parrall to the current steering valve and an allen bradly joystick this thing could be made to fly by wire. could also add two brake levers on left side (hydrolic of course)and two slaves (opps i mean followers to be politically correct) to linkage to make them eather hand or foot operated. it could very realistically be a hand operated tractor. no one has built one in years. could be a hole new market. what you think?

Chris; Your JD dealer is right, in 98% of all the things you'll use the tractor for you'll never notice the difference betwen a 4310 and a 4410. The 3pt. lift specs, hydraulic specs, etc. are identical. The only reason I chose a 4410 for the second unit is for operating PTO powered grain augers during harvest where sometimes the 4310 just was'nt quite enough to keep up full capacity. I did consider going to the large frame 4000 ten series, but thought it might be a bit clumbsy for mowing etc.. I think the cost of the 4 way is about right to be Deere equipment. As I remember the bucket was in the 11 to 1200 range and the third valve and line kit for the tractor that are needed to operate the clam cylinders on the bucket brought the price up to about where you are. There may be a newer brochure out now on the 4000 ten series tractors that show the 4 in one bucket, but when I bought mine in December it was too new an item to be in print form yet. My dealer got all the info from Deere in a FAX to show me some pictures and the specs of the 4 in one. I just checked the Deere website for Australia and it wasn't shown there either, but I'm sure your dealer could get same info that mine did. the first 4 in one bucket is ever saw was one built by the Drott Co. back in the late 1950's, for crawlers so the idea has been around for a long time. The Deere unit is basicly just a minature version of a Drott. I've yet to find flaw with the one I have and would have a hard time parting with it. I'm sure there are other brands being built that will fit the 430 loader, but I've allways just felt better about having attachments that were designed by the same people who designed the base unit you're mounting it to. I've spent the last couple afternoons mowing road ditches and waterways around the farms with the 4410 and the MX5 rotary cutter, that's my way of relaxing, hope you find that too. Frank.

I own a 2002 4410. I would suggest going with the 4310 unless you have some unusual requirement for the extra hp and torque. I got an unusually good deal on mine otherwise I would have gone with a 4310. In most applications I doubt that you would notice that much difference.

This HH180 Mig welder is the welding cat's "MEEEEOWWWW. Look's like my stick welder will be religated to the 3/8s thick and over welding. Local welding dealer wasn't too happy (he asked me what I paid) when I replied to him that I got it delivered to my door for 558.99. Another online welding shop had a 75 cubic inch shielding gas tank delivered to my door for another 35.00 in savings. The local welding guy's price was 629.99 plus 6% Michigan sales tax on HH180 and 129.99 plus tax on the cylinder. I don't know about you guys buT why would i pay OVER a 100.00 MORE to support my local OVERPRICED ECONOMY. WOULD ANY OF YOU PAY THE EXTRA 150.00 bucks to buy local? You know my answer. I did let him fill the tank and bought my consumeables from him. Come to find out the local guy is 2.00 higher the Tractor Supply's tank fill on c-25 gas TSC IS NOT EVEN IN THE WELDING BUSINESS PER SE. Oh well I tried. <br>

I think in today's price conscious world if you aren't pursuing some form of LOW PRICE internet sales for your products...YOU ARE LOSING SALES. The days of people coming into your place of business and paying what you feel like charging ARE GONE. This multi location large local welding dealer in my view was CAUGHT red-handed trying to RIP ME OFF. The very same product for 150.00 more is a rip off in my view on a sale less than 700.00. If you couldn't trust him to give his best price now what make you feel you can trust him in the future????? Internet pricing is like a lie detector. If the difference between the local dealer and internet was 6%, the local guy would have got my business!!!!! Instead, I caught him trying to steal my wallet and it cost hims a Mig welder and tank sale didn't it!!!!! Some retailers never learn.

simple solution. go to the hard ware store buy a piece of 1"x3' stainless flat stock cut them at unequal lengths according to you rops width . dill 2 holes in the smaller one and three in the longer one and make a sandwich of your rops.

Well, my dealer called today and left a message, that John Deere has just released some “new incentives”. The trade-in differential on a 4110 dropped by $182 to $6218, and the cost differential on the 4115 dropped by $372 to $8282.

So, the pricing is slightly more attractive, but I’m still very much undecided what to do.

A bull dozer hired for a day is the best bet for the grading you are talking about. Then buy a compact to do the finish work.

Alright, as long as we are sharing social problems, my 20 year old son came home from college after his freshmen year for the summer on Sunday. We are glad to have him visit, how long do you think it will take for him to wear out his welcome? Helpfull hint, his mother loves to dig for details about where he is going and what he is doing. I took delivery of my 2210 on April 2nd and it too had lots of scratches on the arms and the frame as well as a few gouges. I went back to the dealer and told them and they gave me a can of JD Green paint... It was a b**ch fixing the scratches. While I was at the dealer getting the paint I walk out in looked at the other loaders they had on pallets waiting to be installed and not one of them looked as bad as the one they gave me... I thought at first it may have been a unit that had been sitting around but the date on it said March 16, 2004. So, to save face with the dealer incase I had a major problem later, I decided to let it go... TOM

Reverse works great, but has little to no power pulling forward. Have replaced forward & reverse nuetral valve and high pressure relief valve and still no luck.
