I have a 1925 with 330 hours. I'm in SE Michigan and I'm on my third cable. The first one froze up in the winter. The dealer installed a new one which also froze up. I got a third cable (all under warranty) and pulled the inner cable out and greased it with axle grease before putting it back in the outer cable. I installed it on the tractor and it's been fine ever since.

Just for your info. I passed thru Helena, Arkansas last friday and I saw what appeared to be two new 1070's.<br>One was 4 wd and the other 2wd. Its possible they were 970's, but having just bought a new 1070 I think I would<br>recognize one. I absolutely love mine. Just thought it may be a helpful lead for someone.<br>James

Just bought one of these. 500 hrs and 4x4 for 2750. HaVING A Loader put on for 2200$.<br>It is a bushog QT. Anybody have any kind of inut or experiences on this tractore?

I forgot to add, I grew up using a tin can for the exhaust, it works great, but if you forget to remove it, the can flies pretty high when you start the tractor. :)

As far as I know they are the best, I have one and it serves me just great, I have even added a bucket to it i have a driveway(250ft.) and it plows it inless than 30mts 5'' snow this machine is not too expensive to maintain JUST AS LONG AS YOU RESPECT IT !!!! ..YOU MIGHT HAVE TO PUT SOME WIEGHTS AT THE BACK IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE A BUCKET TO SNOW PLOUGHT. If you know anyone that works at a Ford Plant they can buy New Holland<br>products on what's called the A Plan It is suppose to be dealer cost<br>and Ford Motor Co rebates the dealer a comission. Ray C, I personaly have no experence with this but---- I've been told you have to match the hoe and tractor really good. If the hoe is to powerful it could crack the rearend,when you try to pick up to big a bite. Good luck , KenWV

This area is not fiberglass. It is some kind of plastic. If you had any of the x55 series this is what the hoods were made of. So far is it very tough. I have no complaints. The bedliner idea is a good one. I have a '93 chevy that was Rhinolined 3 days after I bought it. It is one of the best products I have used. I abused the truck and the bedliner is the best looking part of The thing!

If you care about your equipment, use the best lub oil you can afford! The return is beyond anything I could hope to explain. AmsOil is one of the best, if you could get back to me I would have more time and space to explain. I have used this product for over 20 years, and have 3 tractors, trucks, small engines and cars all with syn/oil in them. It really works in more ways than in your engine!

I work my 3 Kubota commercially, and they don't groan after 25hrs work.....
check that it is high quality "EXTREME PRESSURE" grease in the gun. "> Loader Groans
