Regular laundry soap like Wisk works great on the oil spots before you paint. I used M.A.B. silver deck paint with a roller & stick. It's a whole lot easier to paint a floor than the walls & cieling. And after it's done everything cleans up easier.

Please don't be insulted, but I hope by your last comments, that the dealer had at least a demo unit for you to test out before you dropped the green on the green, rather than a brochure photo detail.

With a little pressure, I'm sure that the dealer in question could have a tractor brought in alot sooner from another dealer stock house.

Maybe another fix is to not computerize tractors in the first place, or bowling balls, or gun triggers.

More than welcome. Takes a little stubby pencil work to get the figures shorted out and added up but is good info. to have prior to making a purchase. If you are going to go that big on a tractor, have you looked at or considered a John Deere 4710? I recently procurred 15 of them for the 101st Airborne and the soldiers love them. We use them to tow helicopters as heavy as 50,000 lbs.

I am looking for a CUT to use for tilling in between rows of trees (2 acres), clearing snow (approx 500' driveway), finish-mowing approx 5-8 acres and general landscaping work around the yard. I am primarily interested in the NH TC Boomer / Case-ID DX series. Is the TC33 too big for mowing around the house? Do most people use this size of mower for the wide-open areas, and a smaller mower for around the house/deck/etc?? Any recommendations on what size would best fit me (between the 24/29/33 HP models)?

Now there is a timeless debate. lol. 30-30 Vs .270 lets throw in a 30-06 for giggles and you have the big three by popularity based on overall sales. The 30-30 almost exclusevely due to the popularity of the model '94 Winchester. I recently added a peach to my collection, Model 94 made in 1896, 90 plus %, Take down rifle with up graded wood and express sights. The loading gate and extractor still have nearly all the fire blue. sadlt as is typical the case colors are mostly faded. By the way, I vote for the .270. What can I say I'm still a Jack Connors fan.

I ordered my new TC33D last Thursday evening and found out today that it is arriving at the dealership early next week. I bought the 33D ,Hydro, R4 tires, 7308 loader with HD bucket and scaper blade for 17,325. Some other items are being installed such as rear remote hydraulics and wheel weights. I also looked at a DK 35 Kioti, 4310 JD, and a 3130 Kubota but it came down to the John Deere and the NH with the NH getting the nod because of the straight forwardness of the sales person. I bought him and the dealership as much asI bought the tractor. Also being delivered with the tractor will be a LandPride 1558 rototiller, a Woods box scraper and a Woods scraper blade.

I'm on a 56k modem too but rarely get more than 24Kbps connections - we are on a shared microwave link to the nearest phone company switch. Still, I find most sites I visit to be acceptably fast (given the slow link speeds), but JD's is barely usable for me. Even Kubota's site that has lots of flash animation is 5x faster than Deere's.

I'm trying to find out if it's just me or if anyone else thinks it's slower than most sites.

Anyone else think JD s web site is really slow

Figure $20,010 for a 4630 HST 4WD w/high post folding ROPS and $3,032 for a LA 853 loader, allow $560, $525 for an L2263 bucket for a L2213 Joystick control valve. They will have to load the rear tires or add tire weights for ballast; take your choice. Expect around $600 for weights and half that for fluid filled tires. (the salesman is gonna have to love you like a brother for this price but that is a good price) He will probably balk at these prices but you now have his rock bottom. Since you seem stuck between a TC45D this model Kubota is an approximate equivalent. These are both alot of tractor, whatch gonna use it for? Sounds to me like he messed up on his numbers but if he gave you that price, grab it and run!

Yup, When JD came out with the 2210 they created a new tire size for the front so it will track properly in 4wd. PS. This could be a postal race......

Bucket comes off easy. Piece of cake. Try looking up the manual on the John Deere web site. The tech. info. should be there.
