I have a JD670 with a model 60 front end loader. It has the selector vlv to control the lift arms and bucket and the 4 quick disconnects on the l/h side. I want to add a pressure and return line for aft hydraulics capability. There are several different kits shown in the JD parts manual, but I can't figure out what would work with the existing system I have. I don't want the rear hydraulics to be in series with the bucket controls as I don't want to have to take the loader off to use the aft hydraulics. My local JD deeler has been unable to help, and says there is no one at JD who would help me with this. Any ideas???

Are you pre-heating the glow plugs before you crank the engine?<br>If so, are you sure the glow plugs are getting power when you preheat?

I ordered my 4300 about two months ago and they told me delivery would be two months. Drove by this weekend and there it was sitting in the yard. But now the loader and belly mower have not come in. The dealer, who knows me well by name as I drop by about once a week to look, said that the implements are usually there wa before the tractors. He also said that all of a sudden the tractors are coming in fast. Hopefully everything will be there this week and I will be forced to take a few days off to become acquainted.<br>I went with the

I do not have a breakdown on the price so it is hard to compare. $28000 total with the implements mentioned, HST, 4wd, etc.
As far as "cute factor", my wife voted for green. I bought an inexpensive garden tractor a few years ago against her wishes to spend 6 times as much for a JD. Everytime something goes wrong, I hear "If you had gotten the Deere...". After she drove the 4300 at the dealer, the decision was made. Which is interesting because she won't even test drive a car before we get it, but I could not get her off of the tractor.

The real good setup here would be to go to turf tires. You will enjoy the Massey<br>so much more than a lawn tractor that I would go ahead and do the expense of <br>the turf tires and wheels. It will not be cheap, but then you can use it all<br>over your property without getting the soil tracks from the Ag tires. I received a qoute the other day for a new JD 4600 with MFWD, 12/12 Power Reverser, fixed ROPS, R4 Industrial tires, dual SCV, JD 460 loader with 73

The dealer said the 4600 with MFWD is only avalible in the Power reverser and Hydro. Is this true? Thanks for any help you can offer. "> JD 4600 price check etc

John, I dont know much about the 855 but you could judge your price by calling a local dealer here in Michigan, Bader Brothers in Ithica (517)681-5771 I was there on 4/24/99 and they had 2 of them on the lot. One had 200 plus hours and the other had over 300 hours, these both had mower decks and turf tires. They were both 4WD, and were very clean. Try calling and checking the price on these and then compare. Hope this will help you.

I found a 1250 w/1246 loader for $17,200 at Hunley Sales and Service in Austin, Indiana. Their phone number is (812)794-2771 and ask for Brian Hunley. Mine hasn't been delivered yet. I can't wait! We traded a 5220 Deutz Allis that we had gotten from them 11 years ago. We were happy with that tractor, and are looking for another several years with this new tractor. He gave us a good trade in value. Better than we could get from anyone else a couple of years ago.

I've had it running wide open going down the road and haven't notice it making a lot of noise from rattling seems to be a real tight fitting loader.

The Kubota B2150 is a stellar machine, so much so, there are many who have deferred purchase decisions to eagerly await the the B2150's replacement in 1999 with the B2710. <br>It by far was the most capable B series Kubota until it was discontinued last year. The only shortcomings if any were the older enginereering design, that has been replaced with the flat floor and more ergonomic placement of controls etc. on the new B2710.<br>Good luck! I've heard before about 4 cyl engines having balance shafts?, but I don't understand why a 4 is less 'balanced' than a three. Could you explain more? Thanks.

I looked at a Kioti LB 2204 today. The steering was a bit stiff, which led me to believe it wasn't working properly. The steering has one hydraulic cylinder that appears to work off the same hydraulic pump as the loader and 3 point hitch. The loader and rear lift appear to work OK. Is the stiff steering characteristic of the Kioti or does it need some type of servicing.<br>

I have a 6' Landpride which is recommended for 20-40 hp I believe. I am using a 19 PTO hp Deere 855 and the mower will not load the tractor much. The mower will stop cutting neatly long before it strains the tractor, so I tend to think that you may be ok with something larger if that's what you want.
