Stabil loses its stability once you open the Stabil container, so be sure not to buy TOO BIG a bottle. Best to buy the smallest one you can find and use it on fresh fuel only.<br>
The shelf life of all STA-BIL® brand products is 2 years after the bottle has been opened, provided it has been tightly capped and stored in a cool, dry place. It will not harm anything if you use an old bottle of STA-BIL® brand, it just may not be as effective.

Ain’t that the truth my friend!! I was down the east coast earlier this spring to a 40th reunion at Cherry Point NC and in planning the trip thought of a couple of folks I’d like to (finally) visit with along the way there or on through to Florida.

Unfortunately my 94 year old fathers health turned a planned month long trip into a 2 day trip.

I have a 7234 CK battery as it takes a good batt to heat glow plugs and start a diesel. On mine it does that once in a great while where I hear fuel pump, glow plugs heat seems everything is fine but when I turn to start I just hear clunk and nothing. SO I play w shifter wiggle around in neutral. Then heat glow plugs again turn the key to start and it starts.

does the hydraulic work when the tractor is in motion but not when sitting still? on some models there is a selector that you can run the hydraulics off of the wheels or the transmission.

Three years ago I was selling the majority of my small farming operation which included my favorite tractor to operate I have ever own, a JD 5525R. Served me well and comfortable. My youngest grandson spent many hours in the cab with me, the left fender was a great seat for him. With my leaving the small farming operation still wanted and YES, I NEEDED another tractor. I began search as if new to tractors among brands i would consider. Turned out to be only three and then two and then one. Sadly, I passed on the JD 4066R. JD had my heart, had the room cab, had the comfort, had the HP. What it did not and the reasons I ended with the Kubota GrandL6060 were so simple to me but JD design passed on them, to me big. The first was only Cat One lift pin holes. I still had some Cat 2 equipment set up, not HP needed but Cat 2 lift pins were needed. The one that really was the hook in my mouth as it hit me, there is NO windows in the sides of the cab. For me that meant you either had the heater or air conditioning on unless the single rear window could have air blow in and out the same window which I doubt was reasonable to believe would happen. So no through the cab ventilation unless again running heater or air conditioning. Oh, wait! I missed you can run with door or doors open, issue solved. But I know that was not smart for me, in no time would have neither door.
I have hooked and unhooked many an implement by myself and mostly still by myself. To have the right door open to reach controls and to walk around it for me was the deal killer. (yes there are controls on the fender option) Yes, the Kubota was a few thousand less (5 to 7) and yes, the JD cab was and is larger and more comfortable, but the two designs JD totally messed up on the tractor was a deal killer.

Launched in 2020, the fund is a thematic equity strategy dedicated to investing in companies that help to increase food-production efficiency amid a backdrop of a growing global population and declining per-capita supply of arable land.<br>

Precision agriculture acknowledges the reality that not only will one farm’s conditions be different than the next, but even within a single field of corn, there is going to be variation within that field. A farmer's ability to measure all of this has been limited—until recently, according to Wagner.<br>

“Whether it’s soil health, slope of the land, the amount of moisture in parts of the field, or even proximity to other crops, agriculture companies have developed new technology to collect this important data,” Wagner says.<br>
<br>
Wagner likens this to artificial intelligence, drones, satellites, and tractors with smart sensors, all being used to gather data and help farmers figure out precisely how each inch of the farm needs to be treated. With these precision tools, he explains, a farmer’s goal is to use fewer cost inputs, such as herbicides, pesticides, and even water, while still driving crop yield.<br>

“This concept plays directly into the investment theme of trying to do more with less to feed the world's growing population,” says Wagner, who co-manages the fund with Steven Calhoun. “There is a fixed amount of arable, or farmable, land and natural resources that will be needed to serve growing demand for food, due to growth in global population.”<br>

Wagner and Calhoun look for investment opportunities across multiple industries that can help address and present solutions to this problem.<br>

“If you think about how farming has traditionally worked for thousands of years, success or failure largely comes down to farmers’ decision-making and execution skills,” says Wagner. “They learn through years of family tradition, experience in the field, and on-the-ground observations.”<br>

Wagner cites Deere (DE) and AGCO (AGCO) as companies that have developed smart-farming technology to improve productivity, adding that sales of these tools have become a greater percentage of their profitability.<br>

As of April 30, Deere was the fund's largest holding by a wide margin, and AGCO also was a notable position.

Years ago I learned a very important point from the dealer I bought my first two Kubotas. I was asking about an Old Ford, maybe an N not sure now. He told me the prices or demand was not what they use to be. Puzzled me. He said people who buy the older tractors are mostly men who grew up using that model tractor and left the farm and now have retired or at least gone to gardening or other small operation.
Listen on tv ads what type of music they are selling, they are selling to those who have income to spend on collectibles and what was popular when they were young.

My suggestion, look at YOUR AREA. What was popular in its day. That will provide the best selling market for you if or when you decide to sell it for what ever reason. In my area it was small farms. The Ford N's and 601, Massey 35s and not sure the JD models of that time and Farmall and International. As much as I liked my wife's Ford 601 and my nephew's N would not select them to collect. Why, in my area the old JD get the attention. The brands who are now gone don't get much attention. Which sadly I think leave Case, MF and JD.

I almost always take my damaged hose to local shop and have them build me replacement. Yes it does cost more that way but be the time I understand the fittings on some of my items such as a British boom mower I have learned for me best option.
Now, if I have the time and in the area of my local Agri Supply (Tractor Supply use to have a fair select of hoses, no idea since their recent changes, find little "Tractor" parts at Tractor Supply now) will either take my old hose or a fitting that fits the hose with me with the specs of the hose off the old one. As to cost, buying premade is lowest cost I have seen.

It’s been years ago with my NHTC33 had similar issue and with reading a thread here on TP. I ask my dealer about it and from what I remember there might’ve been some sort of Tech bulletin available addressing that issue and running a couple extra wires etc,( yup me electrical stuff is “alien “to me- other stuff I’m okay) dealer installed it for me while tractor was in for service.
