You didn't state what the hours are but there must be a few for the age. It could be a fuel flow issue, broken wire going to the shut off with several other possibilities.

Does it happen about the same amount of operating time?
Is the fuel tank about the same level?

Geez.. no wonder you are getting stuck. My first tractor had those same tires and anytime I tried to turn it up-hill it would become a stationary rototiller.

Ag tires shine in pasture/wet land situations, but are exactly the worst possible tire for sand.

My current tractor will now easily go up sandy slopes in two wheel drive where it struggled before with factory turf tires in 4wd.

You can make this machine work MUCH better in loose sand for a lot cheaper than $1500

But first, tell me about those rim sizes. Is that a narrow 12 inch rim on the front and maybe 16 inches on the rear?

Art I really feel like there was an issue with my saw from Stihl. I hope it was not the dealer who ate the cost. I do feel like the dealer was part of the problem for it seemed they had the attitude from the beginning I did not know how to crank one and never considered their could be a problem with the saw itself.

In the end feel I was treated fair. Enough looking at a Stihl trimmer.

First tractor leased for about 4 years and other than maintenance no repairs. That lease worked very well. FYI it was a Case.

Next bought new M6800 Kubota in 99. Had to replace a transmission gear. Second gear lost a tooth. Not sure what the cost was but not cheap. Other wise basically maintance other than issue with lights still not fixed and replaced seat.

Next bought B2710 Kubota used about 2003 with I think like 300 hours on it. Only routine maintenance and replaced seat on it. For me Kubota seats rot out quickly.

2008 bought used Volvo excavator and have replaced several hoses on it. Some more than once. Have issue with the electrical system not solved but have learned to work with it.

I have bought used implements with good success but rather buy new if has working parts.

Buying used has been decent for me and think depending on what you are buying a good option, even better than buying new. Now that is with doing careful inspections and doing the math. Was told when leased the first tractor be careful with equipment auctions and have found that great advice. Have only purchased one implement at auction having been to many but learned early on to determine the value to me and do not let the emotion of the bidding get into the price. I do expect to buy used for used price and not the price they paid for it new when they bought it.

I have a jinma 35 HP 4 cylinder tractor with a yangdong Y485 engine. I have two bad injectors and two that function properly. The bad ones are sticky and can be cleaned but the good ones are adjusted to two different cracking pressures, neither of which meet "book" standards. One cracks at 2200 PSI, the other at 2400 PSI, book says 1914.5 PSI. The injector that requires 2400 PSI was tested as it was received new, the other is original with about 500 operating hours, both have uniform spray patterns. Which setting is correct? I have called every major dealer in the U.S. and not one of them has a good answer because none of them test injector pressure. I really don't want to re-assemble the engine without setting the injectors properly and uniformly. My manual also states that setting injection pressure too high may cause engine knocking. <br>

I take it you were using a torque wrench to know the 30 foot pounds?

I am going to probably have the lone opinion on this one but I do not use a torque wrench often, particularly on applications where the bolt is small enough to snap. It also causes you too use a tool that makes you lose perspective of what is reasonable. OK engineers have at me !

It sounds like the threads were crossed, rusted dirty .....

One of the auto stores has a kit you can borrow with a deposit for free that allow you to clean the threads.

In regards to a pattern I just hand thread, then just gradually tighten every other bolt :(

Rearward means just that. The longer half faces the back of the tractor. And since we're talking about the PTO disc, rearward means it necessarily faces the clutchpack as well.

I would also with today fuel use a carb cleaner and a stabilizer in the Gas,And I looked again at Tractor data .com and they don't show a 2200 M-F.
Also you may need to put in new Spark plugs and points.

I started a few years ago since the fuel today is not very good ,I also put in about 1/3 of a quart 10-30 of motor oil per tank of fuel and that would depend on the fuel tank size.Mine are from 16 to 18 gallon,and I also do my diesel tractors the same.

Thanks ...My pump hooks up direct to the PTO shaft for the tiller. Someone told me I could open the pump and switch the gears and put it back together and that would switch directions. The ports on each side are different sizes ,the return is larger than the suction side. I'm just not sure if I should do this. You know it best to get a second input be for demolition begins .:-)

Was told a few months back ECHO had purchased Shindawa a couple of years back. Understand Shindawa no longer had an EPA approved chainsaw for the US, just know they no longer had one.

just wondering, you say there is gas in the bowl, is the gas flowing to the carb? if so you might want to go ahead and get that carb rebuilt and just in case, at the end of each season if she's going to set all winter, shut off the fuel valve while she's still running and let'er run out of fuel before turning the key off. this way the carb will be dry all winter and no chance of varnish. I do this plus a fuel stabilizer for all my gas tractors.
