Just wanted to let you know I finally got the 3pt working. The hydraulic shop rebuilt the distributor block. I put it in and it still didn't work. I dropped the fluid level down till it was just above the intake and took the distribution plate off and started the tractor up. I was getting very little flow, but noticed I had high flow out of the lower hose at the back of the tank. I wasn't sure at first what to do. I finally wrote down the valve numbers and called cross valves. They pulled the valves up and we traced lines. The guy had two lines hooked up wrong. I swapped them around and it works perfectly. I checked and double checked before I did - didn't want to blow the pump. My buddy actually bought the tractor and said the guy raised and lowered it - there's no way. The guy must have jacked it up and locked the valve. I know when I got it from my buddy the valve was locked closed. I could tell someone had taken the 3pt box apart because two fender bolts (which are a bear to get back in) were missing and the main cylinder O ring and wiper looked new. He couldn't figure it out and dumped the tractor. Even after all this I still feel pretty good. I paid $3600.00 and it only has now 57 hours on it. The hour meter is working, it had 53 when I got it. In the process the fuel shut off cable broke and I need a couple gaskets which are on there way from Thomas at Affordable. Then I get it all put back together. I'm happy now. Thank You. Larry.

Dennis;

Get the "Butt Cam" done. I wouldn't recommend it for a relaxing weekend, but after a half dozen or so I've had they aint so bad.
I was in the "Iffy" category for a few years having one every couple years. I'm 72 now and had my last one three years ago and was told to come back in ten years.

I recently had to get a rebuilt alternator for my tractor. I removed the old one, drew a diagram of where the wires went. Some how I lost the drawing and I am now lost as to where the wires go. It is a 3 wire alternator. The new one has different connection points .Any help will be appreciated very much.<br>

Yup, it's water, Murf explained how it gets there.
Years ago I remember the the Model H and M Farmalls use m# 90 gear lube i8nthe transmissions and final drive very few people bothered to change the lube very often, some maybe never a really nasty result could happen. The final drive gears ran really close to the bottom of the gear case which was the lowest point. Finally enough water would build up between the gear case bottom and the final drive gears, then freeze into a solid chunk resulting in a cracked gear case when the tractor was first moved. I bought a junk Farmall 350 once which was basicly a souped up model H that had a triangle shaped chunk broken out right below one of the final drive gears.
You are likely a long way from something like this, but change it anyway.

I have an older Kubota B-7100 HST 4WD and have developed a leak at the pump.......I assume it might be time to replace the pump. Anyone done one of these and how difficult is it?<br>

i know that both the solenoids are bad and the company that originally made them is no longer in buissness. the hyd. part of it seems to function fine when i engage them manually by hand. i was just wondering if there was a way to convert it to manual lever controls to keep from having this problem in the future. i have a manual 2 way lever control valve that i can mount on a bracket on my fender if i could figure out which hyd port is what so that i can hook them up correctly. by running hyd. flex lines to them. if anyone knows a way to accomplish this please let me know or if you have run into this issue and know where i may be able to find some parts to repair it manual or electric. thank you for all you advice and have a blessed day.

Was just reading NE US shortage. Feds have lifted driver HOS hours of servive regs. So trucks delivering to these area can do what they need to making deliveries.

I have 30' wide metal pole barn that I want to install a I-beam trolley system in. What size I-beam did you use? Where did you get length over 20'? All I've seen stock is 20'.

In Ethiopia as well all Belarus tractors sold were with air compressor driven be fun belt. It is very important especially in very remote areas where their is infrastructure. Would you please give me an idea where to get such type of compressor (manufacturer) which can be operated by any tractor type (Brand)?

The fuel shut off solenoid has 3 wires, black is ground, the other 2 are pull voltage for the solenoid ( white ) and hold voltage ( red ) after it has been pulled. The hold voltage comes on when the key is in the run position and the pull voltage is there in the start position. If both stay hot all the time it can cause problems with the solenoid. I would unplug the solenoid and check to make sure voltages are there when the ignition is in the right position. Red wire hot only in the run position, white only in the start position. Problem could be start relay, ignition switch, solenoid itself or ??? I don't think your starter solenoid is bad.

I purchased mine from a local feed store about 3 years ago I think its a wildgame inovations manufacture...not sure and its not with me now so I cant look.
anyway, it has worked well fert'n & plant'n over 25 food plots we hunt. works on 12volts cost new was $159 on sale during high-heat off season.

I think the secret to lifetime of this type spreader is to keep it clean from dust and fine debri from the products you use.

I clean mine after every plot and when storing.

its plastic and cheap... but with care it can last

If everything was working before the fluid change, and the pump wasn't touched, I'd have to say the pump isn't the issue.

Double check every line removed or anything else that was changed to be sure that it got put back correctly.

As for the pump itself, have you isolated the pump to test it? An intake and outlet hose in a bucket of fluid and spin it with an electric drill. If it works that way the problem is in the plumbing somewhere.
