Thanks for the information greg_g. I'll check again and make sure about the drain bolt. The book they gave me when I purchased it really doesn't show me much, but at least I have something to look at. I haven't did anything to it do to the time of the year and I really don't like working in the cold weather either. I think if I knew of any person around here I would probably have it done. The person who took care of my ford 8n went out of business and it is hard finding a person can trust to do the job right. Again thanks for your information.

THere should be some way to make some big blinking sticky about the restrictor on the Kaw 290D (and maybe other engines). Over the years a couple people have posted here about tearing their hair out tracking down a bad running engine only to discover a missing restrictor or something goofy like a mouse having chewed the restrictor opening larger. Seems weird the engine is that finicky about the area of the restrictor opening.

I believe you're looking too low. That cover is likely over the aux PTO, which is part of the rear differential housing. The hydraulic sump sits above the diff housing, and provides a platform for the operator seat. Again, look for a single hex head bolt that doesn't seem to fit the rest of the bolt pattern.

And I agree, the Chinglish in the manuals is challenging at best. For most maintenance and repair issues, I typically got more use out of the exploded diagrams in the parts manuals. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words (especially if they're Chinglish).

The gas you were adding would have to be pretty bad to stop it dead while you were adding the new gas.
A 620i is fuel injected so you have no carburetor to deal with.
It doesn't seem a fuel filter would clog that quickly.
Have you checked the power to the fuel pump?

Hello<br>
I just bought a used gator with 700 hrs showing on the meter. I think most of the hours are from the key being left on.<br>
Issue is it ran great the first week and then it just went down hill. Now I can start it, but after a few seconds it just dies. Also as soon as I try to accelerate it also dies. i have to start baby choke and after about 20 starts I can get it to go. Once warmed up it seems to run, but still only ideals for a minute then dies. I checked all the hoses for vacuum leaks, took carb off and gave it a good cleaning, checked to make sure fuel pump was pumping,put new fuel filter in, put new plug in and still same problems. Any one else experiencing same issue or have a fix<br>

When I did mine I took heavy welded link chain an bolted around both ends with enough hanging in the middle I could insert 36 ton hydraulic jack(homemade puller) it'll come off. You can get the manual to print free from woods. LARRY

We haven't heard from you in a while, so we're still sitting here wondering if you found a solution to this problem.

While talking this over with a friend of mine, it was suggested that you may have detergents in your hydraulic oil. This will cause small bubbles to show up, looking like a thick foam. It is all but impossible to develop any pressure when attempting to compress these bubbles.

Any bubbles in your oil will cause cavitation, causing severe wear in your hydraulic system.

Please make sure that you have the proper hydraulic fluid in your tractor. It should be Kubota Super UDT, or a suitable equivalent. Cenex QuikLift is a very good substitute.

At any rate, your hydraulic fluid should be rated for common sump applications, and is usually identified as HTB.......Hydraulics, Transmission, Brakes.

Those were a bid mower built by AMF at the time. We do often use generic belts on them although I believe they would be 3/8's or 1/2" for the back width. Check your pulley openings width to be sure as to which belt might drop in the best.

You went with something close to what I have at home, a 25Kv 3 point generator with a Lincoln buzz box I mounted on it. I own a tool and die business so my Miller Dial an Arc TIG welder does most of what I need done if I can get it to work easy, but the easy ones never seem to happen to me.

Being able to take the welder anywhere my tractor can get to is so handy though I recommend it to anyone thinking of a home welder setup. Initial cost is more of course, but being able to run the house in a pinch when you lose power is worth the added peace of mind as well.

I got the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 last week. I really like it, it is a much better size for me than the Nexus 7 FHD that I returned. Everything works the way it should with no touch screen issues that I had on the Nexus.

I wish I could get an Otterbox case for it as it is a little slick without a case :(

Well, this is some Thanksgiving! I too, am happy to be here for another one after what I have been through this year. BUT today was just one more reason to thank God for His help. A friend rented the local gun club for folks who had no place to go. We all brought a dish to pass to accompany the turkeys he cooked. Unfortunately, someone placed a live candle inside a decorative Thanksgiving display which just happened to catch fire when everyone was in the other room. Long story short, we put the fire out but not before it burned two tables. We got to it JUST in time, it was ready to go out of control and in fact by the time we got hold of the fire extinguishers the room was filled with toxic smoke. We cleaned until a short time ago, got back home and my clothes are all soot and I am exhausted. My wife was with me and she now knows why I don't allow burning anything in our home. God Bless you all and again, I thank Him that we were all OK and able to save the building.
