Thanks for the reply. I just finished fixing it and found that I made a stupid mistake. After reading the instructions again I found that I never attached the return hose to cycle the hydrolic fluid. Connected the hose and made some adjustment to the box blade and all is working great.
I'll never tell my wife because all I'll here is "I alway tell you to read the instructions".

Farming here is still family business. You would think such would be popular here but not. Think one reason is tobacco was for years THE CROP and it heavy labor intense in the summer months when many such event take place. Have a great time. kt

WOW!! Ok now that I have read all the post I need a EXCEDRIN I don't have any rain or snow problems,and I live in the desert, no moisture problem 3in a year, rodents only rattle snakes.the problem I do have is finding a contractor, and a barn I want a 30X40x12 should be high enough,I am thinking about one of these Quansant hut looking things beings I may be building it myself. I haven't seen anyone talking about them,and I don't know if I can rely on what I read on the internet,any ideas on them

My shutter gear keeps kicking out of gear when used alot, hard to put in reverse from forward and vise a versa. I have heard its bent shifting forks? Does anyone know for sure and what all you need to purchase to repair?<br>

Pre Sandy o yeah! Over the years they keep moving the greenhouse business to a new location on the farm. The old locations are just left in ruins like one big EPA disaster site, I count at least 4 abandoned greenhouse locations.

Godlewski's is also in the habit of abandoning trucks and tractors scattered across the property wherever it was when they finally stopped LOL not a pretty site when left for 10 or 20 years....

From what I have read the Accord CVT gets very good reviews for a CVT, good for gas mileage... nicer to drive conventional automatic.. supposedly will put in CRV in fall 2014 model.

Murf,

It is a male spigot, in anticipation of the valve leaking at the first flush I bought a brass cap to screw on until I replaced the valve. In anticipation of my forgetting where I put the end cap I screwed it loosely onto the male spigot end which makes it look weird in the pix :)

I got a torque wrench from my cousin yesterday and am going to re-torque my head and do the valve lash adjustment this morning. <br>

Oh and the reason I said that I felt that my decompression lever was working correctly is because that while turning it over, I can turn the lever and it will start turning over much faster.

Need help Please, I was Mowing along and the PTO stopped and a second later the tractor shut down. I checked the fuses and found the interlock 10A fuse had blown. replaced and tried to proceed, as soon as I pulled the dash mounted PTO button the PTO started briefly... then again blown fuse, My first thought is PTO Button. second: the seat switch had been disconnected. Has anyone out there experienced this problem?<br>
UPDATE:FYI Found the trouble under the right side just in front of the back axle, two wires that go into the hyd. solenoid were bare (no factory boot) and shorting out on each other.

Water in the oil can rust the suction screen, which subsequently decomposes in place. And besides "wet" oil (which settles to the bottom of the sump), the WRONG oil will cause problems. I don't know off the top of my head of any 10W30 that's diesel-rated. Typically diesel rated is a straight 30W or the more commonly used 15W40. The way you tell the difference is the API classification on the label; for gasoline the code will start with the letter S, for diesel the letter C (think [i]compression[/i] ignition).<br>
<br>
A big difference between C- and S- classified engine oils is an additive that holds diesel soot in suspension. Soot is a natural byproduct of diesel compression ignition. S-class oil - failing to hold the soot in suspension - permits it to settle to the bottom of the sump and create a sediment layer. Over time this crud turns to sludge, and will get thick enough to clog the screen. Given that the pump is gear driven, the weakest link then is the screen itself. And if it's rusty in the first place, the screen will self-destruct just that much faster.<br>
<br>
Don't be afraid to install a 3rd one, but make sure this time it's on a clean engine. This will cost you a few quarts of oil, but perform a thorough engine flush. Drain, pull the pan, remove the old strainer, replace the pan, refill to the proper level with fresh oil PLUS an engine cleaner additive. This isn't an endorsement, but the link below will give you an idea of what I'm talking about. Then drain and refill with a C-class engine oil. Even in Alaska, I recommend 15W40. I build pole buildings and I would not build one with a wall height shorther than 10'. I avoid installing overhead doors shorter than 8'.

Do not pour dry bag of concrete into a wet hole and think it is going to set up around the post. Always mix up the concrete even when it is going in a hole full of water.<br>

If the solenoid is good but not operating that really only leaves two possibilities, one, a bad ground, two, a bad key switch.
