I promote the Yanmar dealer network, but I have gone to my John Deere dealer for some parts like an air filter because he is closer-just take the old filter with you and he can match it. They carry almost as many Yanmar parts as Deere parts since Yanmar makes most of the compact Deere tractors for the past 25 years. You can blow these filters out with air-I have only replaced one in 24 years of service.

You have described the behavior of my BX2350 exactly. On my original post, I didn't add the fact that it also does it in reverse and I have to hit the forward pedal to stop, or when I quickly release the forward pedal it doesn't want to continue running.

I am about to upgrade to a B2320 with a manual transmission. The dealer will accept my BX2350 as a trade in and will sell me the B2320 with loader for $9000, or $150/month with 0% financing. I can't trust that they will really fix the BX2350...

Thanks for all the help! I doubt I will be plowing any time soon. I only have one pasture finished and until I get the second pasture finished and have some place to keep my two horses, I won't be tearing the sod up on this one any time soon. I was just wondering so that I could keep my eyes open for the equipment should I see it for sale or at an auction. Also my friend Bud seems to stumble across these items a lot. But more than likely, there is a very nice fellow from my church that plows the field across the street and has offered to do my pasture for me. A very nice family and I am guessing he would charge me very little. It's just that I love my independence and if there is any way possible that I can do it myself, I'd rather.

OK...so back to the earlier suggestion of using roundup to kill the roots of the growth. I totally forgot that after you disc/plow and reseed, if you still have the roots of those rotten weeds with the burrs on them, of course they would come back. Thanks for the simple reminder! How long would I have to leave my horses off this toxic field?

TractorCo.com is updating this notice. Just received a consumer report of a Tytan 324 tractor purchased directly from Tytan International in Kalama, Wa. in 2006. This customer reported the bolts securing the left front steering bracket sheared off. This resulted in a catastrophic failure. Consumer reports left front wheel fell off. Operator was not injured from roll over as the front loader happened to be in the down position at the time of failure. TractorCo.com recommends all owners of Tytan tractors check the bolts on the front steering brackets to see if they are backing out. TractorCo.com has upgraded the bolts on tractor it has sold with grade 8 studs. Tytan International has rejected the need for a recall as of August 2010. TractorCo.com maintains this matter constitutes a life safety hazard should the wheel fall off while the loader is in up position. A followup complaint is being filed with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

I called the 800 number right away but they were closed, I just missed them, I will call Monday morning for sure. Thank you for your help. I'll keep you posted on the progress of my search. At the recommendation of one of the tractor places I was at, I had the wheels welded, this should hold me for awhile. However, I still need to purchase new ones. Bill

Some of those types of levers are slightly spring loaded with 3 positions. UP-NEUTRAL-DOWN. The knob controls
the speed of the implement going down. I think you might
have a worn "hydraulic" piston packing. It might explain the slow dropping of the implement. Fluid slowly bypassing
the seal packing.

NCWTractor agrees with Murf. But, we would like to add that the IH254 was made by Mitsubishi.<br>
On those models there is an electronic solenoid that shuts off the fuel pump that is controled in link with your ignition switch and a control unit underneath the dash on the right hand side(check the side dash panel for 2 phillips head screws). You will find a control unit behind it. It will look like a voltage regulator (flat black box).<br>

Pull out your solenoid and check it. It should have 2 wires. Hook a hot lead to one and a ground lead to the other. If it clicks every time you touch it with a ground lead it is still good. Your problem could be a bad connection somewhere or a problem with your control unit.<br>
