I have a D275F Shibaura tractor/loader. Didn't get any manuals. Cant figure out some controls, how to get glow plugs on, switch has indicator to left but wont turn there. all symbols in jap. can anyone help?

PS why is it so damn tough to harvest a Big Buck in Maine?.

Well our property is in a wildlife sanctuary. They all hang out in my backyard during hunting season!

I'm leaning toward a Kubota myself. A front mount snow thrower is very important to me. Hmmm maybe a B3030 with a heated cab :-)

Anyone have any experiance with the feasabiliy of converting a 2wd L225 to 4 wd? Is it just a matter of finding a parts tractor for the drive parts or is there a fundimental differance in the transmissions? I crawled underneath my L 225 today and couldnt find a pto plate but there does appear to be one in the side behind the clutch. Also anyone know of a source of parts (hopefully fairly near AZ) for this project?

Across the front hood above the grill are the four letters LONG ... But the small metal tag rivited to the main body just below the cab has Pat #'s (like lots)and across the top is <br>
model 1400 sin number 2165<br>

With nothing else refuring to brand or anything.<br>
The rear bucket has a tag bolted to it with a manufactor address of North Vancouver Canada (about 1 hour by car for me)and it states the makers name and that it was made for LONG.<br>

Worth these days.<br>
Solid deck.<br>
Two of the caster plastic wheels could be replaced.<br>
Blades are not all beat up but could be sharpened.<br>
PTO shaft is a little sluggish to turn (my hand),I feel this is from sitting in the barn it's been living in for some time...lack of use.<br>
It was traded to me in a along with many other things in a could you help me clean up my shop event.<br>

Looking to buy a "Long" backhoe model 1400 Sin # 2165 ASking $5500.00 CND, any info would be great on eng.size,HP,year it might be...etc,etc,etc.<br>
This is what I do know; 1 new rear tire, motor 4cyl diesel reblt about 10-12 years ago before the dad passed on.(he owned it for about 25 years the son figured.Now used for snow removal only, by son, for mother. Not for sale, till now, wanting to sell.Runs clean no smoke, purrs nice.<br>
I started it up on a rainy day...machine hasn't been moved in about 7 monthes...I've been watching over the fence.<br>
Power steering,one stick front bucket control, two stick backhoe control.( john deere type I think as I run excavator in cat control and these are differant (great!).<br>
Misc welding done on the front bucket arms and same on rear backhoe boom and dipper.<br>
Cab on it.<br>
Tool box, (I guess,)on the roof.<br>
Looking for any info year,eng. size, quality of tractor.<br>

Thinking a Long time about this hoe

They should fit the LG-Montana and SOME of the Tafe tractors are the same models with differient paint!!

You Can Power Beyond the Loader Valve, Then use your remotes to run the backhoe. The Standard pump on a 2360 iz just 4gpm. You can Upgrade it to a 9gpm.
