A dealer who was trying to sell me one told me that the TAFE is made in India and he said that except for the injection system (he said TAFE uses Bosch) they are identical to a MF.

Take a look at Lloyd's comment. He is correct--that is how USAA is interpreting their policy. I think that they're just wrong (I explained why I think so to Lloyd in an e-mail). Anyway, USAA uses the ISO (Insurance Services Offices) policy which is a standard form policy. There are some carriers like State Farm which use their own form but most use ISO. It's my opinion that the way I have described the coverage, it covers for all non-commercial use but USAA disagrees. In effect, USAA is saying the following: Your neighbor goes away for a three week vacation. You decide to do him a favor and cut his grass with your riding lawn mower. USAA says that they interpret the ISO policy to read that your liability coverage ceased when you drove your lawn mower across your property line.
