Sorry, I assumed it was for the Deere, but wondered if there is an adapter out there to allow skid steer toys to work on the CUT's. The tilt toy they show above the 3ph looks like it would really be nice if somehow usable on the CUT loader arms.

I guess we need someone that knows the workings of both types of equipment.

I was pricing these with walls and a roll up door in my area (VA). The local inspector said they do not require permits here. They consider them temporary and classify them as tents. <br>

That got me thinking. <br>

Then I saw a small cart cover at the local Sam's club after a freak wind in a thunder storm. Unit had been bolted into the pavement, but the side legs came apart. Maybe they left out a few parts... but it got my attention (See Pic#1).<br>

I had a pole barn built. It cost a little more, but seems a whole lot stronger (pic#2). I wish it was still this clean and roomy. It seems to have shrunk ;)<br>

Pic 3 gives some scale. But it appears my little truck won't pull my new toy. But thanks to those who helped with the alternate transport ideas in the linked thread.<br>

P.S. - Great site. Best $20 I spent in a long time. I've been telling my tractor friends around here, although I wish they could read a little more while visiting like I could when I first visited. Before DW... but I understand.

So I guess I just buy or make 2 heavy duty ramps to get into the truck bed. The web site shows a 2'-9" deck height.

After that the only obstacle may be the wheel wells, and away I go.

Thanks, I hadn't even considered an enclosed truck.

Anyone out there used this method before?

If so, anything else I should watch out for?

$40/day sounds pretty good to be able to move the tractor.

My uncle once buried a 4 wheel loader while building a pond.

He got out a few feet at a time by using a cable attached to the bucked and a tree. Full bucket travel gave him a few feet of forward movement. I don't know if that would work in reverse somehow, or if the 3 point could do something similar.

This assumes you can get a long cable and find something to anchor it to.

If your terrain has a lot of this, maybe your winch idea is best.

From the looks of your soil, I may have a similar problem. How would a winch best be hooked to a small tractor with FEL?

Thanks for the quick responses. I don't live on the property yet, that's why we let it go a little. We just are trying to keep it under control for now while doing other clean up projects. The soil is very "clayey" except in the pasture.

Kwschumm - good luck with getting unstuck, you have me re-thinking the R4's I ordered.

I'm new here, but one of my "Down the road" wants is something to cut the banks and ditches. Some with major drop offs. Murf's idea sounds interesting, but I couldn't picture it. Do you have a photo or a sketch that would help?
