Does anyone out there have a Cab on their Kubota BX? <br>

Blowing snow again today and any wind causes a cold face wash! Just came in to warm up again. <br>
<br>
Curtis looks real $nice$, are there any other options? I would love some detailed pictures of the Cabs on the JD 2210's, if you have any please e-mail them to me (Wildman1 - busguy??). Curtis website shows little or nothing on detail.

Arrow: Your '99 has 4 wheel disks, possibly 4 channel anti lock as well. I would try:<br>
<br>
1. checking for pad wear on all 4 corners, replace if needed<br>
2. Look at any wheel sensors you can see at the rotors (Warning Light?)<br>
3. Check for buildup of ice or debris of any kind on the rotors/sensors<br>
4. Follow wiring from sensors as far as you can looking for damage<br>
5. If your truck is 3 channel, there is a sensor on the ring gear in the rear diff. Check it's wiring and connections coming from the rear end.<br>
6. Try calling a dealer (different one?) and asking for opinions, they may help you.<br>

Let us know what (if anything) you find.<br>

Steve:

1. Very poorly.
2. No.

They have the "offroadability" of an Audi AWD. Airing down is to let the sidewall flex and conform over uneven terrain. Low profile tires do not flex, even at extremely low pressure (the theory behind run-flats), which is why they handle on the highway better.

This theory is why some older SUV's have tall sidewall tires (ie older Exploders) to allow the tire to slip laterally rather than grip and cause a rollover. Unfortunately, tire deflection at lower pressure causes "tripping" which is when the tire deflects too far to the side allowing the rim to contact the road surface thus kicking the vehicle over.

I watched a 38" Super-Swamper explode and send the guy to the hospital. NOT recomended. Starting fluid is only used for starting ( an '86 jetta with 2 bad glow plugs :P ).

Below is a link to my 28 x 36 garage I built over the last couple of years. <br>

I went with 2 rows of 4 100w incandescent lights. My reasoning for this is, I do not have them on all the time (electrical $12/ month) so the bulbs are cheaper, and in my cold climate (north central Wisconsin) I have never been impressed with fluorescent start-up performance.<br>
<br>
I have no windows in the garage, so they are the only light source, and as you can see they do pretty well.<br>
<br>
Edit: The best thing for lighting I did was finishing the walls (drywall).

When I got home I was impressed with the good job she did do on the drive, however. She even got the tractor out of the garage AROUND my Dodge without bending any sheetmetal!

BTW the neighbor got his new 'blower for his 7800. What a monster! (62"?)

You may find a local fabrication/welding shop in your area who might "trade" or partially trade your big sheet for the discs you need. There is some value to a 1000# sheet of steel, even if it is old and rusty. Call around.

You'd have to lift the loader up high enough to see under it too, not very stable -or- lights would be so low that they wouldn't last long without being smashed -or- reflected light off the beautiful orange bucket would dazzle your night vision.

Hey DR: How about a turbo-normalizer?

This is a turbo set up to give only enough boost to make sea-level pressure in the manifold. This should not put any more stress on the motor than running at sea-level altitude. Definitely need to add a boost gage and a pyrometer (EGT).

Snowmover: Here is what I did on my BX2230. The lights are 35w rubber cased tractor lights (non-hallogen)they are plenty bright and don't tax the small oem dynamo too much. They work great for snowblowing and FEL use. I turn one around for using the box blade with the snowblower. <br>

I used the ignition-hot lead under the seat to power a relay and the tail light lead to switch it.

2WD + FEL = Usable.

Rather than just repeat what everyone else has said, let me add:

God bless our Troops, and a Merry (and Safe) Christmas to them and their families! Remember them in your prayors.

Take the time to use your CUT to remove the snow from your neighbor's driveway when they aren't looking, then deny it. Fun seat time and feels good too. I just got done doing 4 neighbors' driveways, since I'm home from school with no money for anything else to give, but free tractor time!!!

Like Frank said, the Red Wings are available is sssoooo many sizes and types, that all you need to do is find the right ones. I have averaged about 2 years per pair (in a machine/weld shop). Mine always wore out from the inside out.<br>

Like a tractor, boot dealers mean alot too. A good dealer has not only the size and style selection, but the kowledge and skill to help fit you properly. I wore the same type for years, replacing every 2 or so, untill (because of a move) I had to go to a differant dealer who suggested a differant style. Wow, what a differance. Much more comfy. Since I don't work in the shop any more, I'll probably have these 'till I die!
