A rear PTO for the tiller is optional on current models.
If the tractor you are looking at has power steering, it is a "4020PS" and weighs 25 lbs. more. My cross-street neighbor at our vacation home has had an Ingersoll for years now--he's a Stihl/Snapper dealer, so I expect he selected based on the Ingersoll's quality. They are stout, and I'd buy one in a heartbeat if we had a dealer local. And thanks for the info on the front loader--the rumor was one would soon be available. There is a saying in the auto industry that it is prudent to wait for a while after a complete new model is produced, for the bugs to be worked out. It is troubling to find this necessary with JD. That very fact (that entry level Kubotas and New Hollands don't have PS)
has kept me from making a decision.
I don't plan on serious front loader work for my tractor purchase,
mostly grass care and snow removal, with some light farmwork.
It it reasonable to move snow with a front loader w/o PS?
