Hi Folks,
I'm looking to add a brush mower to my JD 4310. I have come across a used model 513 which is rated as a light duty mower. If there is anyone out there who owns one or has further information about the durability and use, please let me know.
Most of the mowing will be done in overgrown fields and to cut some autumn olive shrubs.

hey labgirl
i have a 513 mower and it works wonderful,
cuts clean and i have taken down saplings up to two inches
with it. extremely quiet also. run it with my 970 fwd. ....

Hi Beagleman,
I did purchase the mower and it runs great! So far we only used it on some overgrown fields with heavy grasses, no saplings. And, it looks great too. for $50 the guy who was selling it completely repainted it for me.
