I have a 2002 BX2200 with 161 hours. After using it for awhile I seem to get a lot of oil seeping out the small oil vent under the seat. The oil level is between the 2 marks on the dip stick with the mower deck lowered and the front loader down. I don't remember seeing this problem earlier. Is this normal? Thanks in advance.

That's not oil, it's actually tractor pee. Generally tractors excrete in private and you don't see it. You may have been using the tractor too long in one stretch and it just couldn't hold it any longer. A similar thing happened to me one time - I describe it in detail in a different forum. ....

Yes, the cooling fan is attached and spinning when the engine is running.
Should I take it to the dealer and have them check it out?
Thanks... ....

Sometimes oil comes out after hard work. Say, moving a lot of material with the FEL. Other times it comes out after only mowing for 2 hours.
Keep in mind, when I mow, I go from forward to reverse a lot.
Thanks ....

A lot of oil to me would have it running out of the vent and all down the rearend and 3 point. I supect you have an ounce or so. I would not worry about it. It is probably just expanding from heat and coming out the vent or even sloshing out if you drive over rough ground. On mine the difference between the bottom mark and the full mark on the dip stick is about 1/2 quart of fluid. ....

Our property is relatively flat.
I get enough oil out the relief valve that causes a small drip on the bottom drain plug.
Thanks

mine does that to ,when going uphill 15-20 degree grade ,if you pull out the vent cap, and extend it with vacuum hose and a vacuum line splice ,it fixes the problem! (it also does this if you go up a dirt pile etc while using the loader) ....

Like jimbrown said ,i think it is more to do with sloshing ,(quick back and forth movement) mine does it hot or cold,15 minutes of use, after warm up. (lack of an internal baffe in hydro or not designed quite right?) ....

Thanks everyone for the replies. Makes me feel better that others are doing the same thing. I'll give the short piece of vacuum hose a try.
Again thanks. ....

Did you ever figure out what was causing your leak? I have a BX2200 I purchased in 2000 that has an identical leak, that I just started to notice, that seems to be coming from the top of the HST directly beneath the seat bracket. A Kubota Dealer stated that the top threaded hole in the top of the HST (as well as the two side threaded holes), in a BX machine, serve no purpose and the top hole is not a vent at all. Please let me know. ....
