I just bought a used snowblower model number ssb-600 made by Steiner. I'm trying to fix the chain, but am having problems. DOes anyone know where I could find a manual or website to help me trouble shoot?

If I am correct the unit is probably yellow. Or used to be anyway. That was made by the old Steiner Company. Now under the name Ventrac or Venture products. I worked there quite a number of years and used to know that product well.
Call them at 330 683 0075. Tell them Neal told you about them and ask to speak with Mark Steiner or Roy Steine if they will let you. There should be some old manuals that they might be able to copy. If I had one I would gladly send you a photocopy. The unit used standard roller chain and weld a sprockets. We did things simply back then :) ....
