Today I finally bought a Kubota 7510 with the 302 loader and R4 tires. The bigger frame of the 7800 seemed like it might end up being a hinderance in and around the barns and trees -- and the thousands I "saved" by buying the smaller 7510 leaves me with more money to spend on implements.
Thanks for the advice and knowledge -- this board helped a great deal. I have to wait until the dealer locates a loader, so won't see the tractor for another week or so.
Now I need to find a bush hog, post hole digger, box scraper, and back blade.

I ended up paying just under 13,000 for a 7510, LA302 loader, loaded R4's, hooks on the bucket and a block heater. I found the same set-up for $12,700 from a different dealer, but really liked Salem Farm Supply where I ended up buying.
I have a total of 2 hours on it so far and really like it. I have a 48" brush hog -- worked great cutting waist high (and higher) grass and small shrubs. I went really slow as I was a little nervous about hitting things I couldn't see -- the machine could have gone much faster.
I'm hoping to put some hours on the tractor over the long weekend.
I have followed a few threads about refueling -- which is a huge concern for some. I used a 5 gallon can and a funnel and had no problem with the loader getting in the way. ....

Thanks for the reply! I spoke with a dealer about an hour and a half away from where I live and he said he could do the B7150 with loader (not sure which model loader) for $11,700. I thought that was really good.
Have you had the chance to use the loader at all? I was wondering if it is worth the $2,700 extra, or that I should put my money into some other impliments? I have 5 acres which I'm going to start building a house on and I'm thinking I could really use the loader for constrution/grading, plus I want to establish a lawn. Right now it is just minor weeds. I thought about getting the bush hog, but I want to disk the entire property and get the lawn started. I don't think I want to spen the money on a disk for using it for a weekend. Once it gets started I'm going to need a finish mower.
Anyway, please let me know how you make out this weekend using the 'bota. ....

Of all the attachments and implements available to a CUT, the loader is perhaps the MOST important. You will find it most useful for a wide variety of tasks. If you pass on it, you may as well have bought a lawn & garden tractor.

I agree, get the loader. While I have not used mine yet, we have a tractor with FEL at work (a school). Before we got the tractor I had never used a loader. We use it for everything -- moving mulch and soil, carrying garbage, hauling stuff around campus -- basically it's a motorized wheelbarrow. I cannot imagine buying a tractor without the loader -- for me, I know it will be the implement I use far more often than anything else.
My future uses are similar to yours -- I am builfding a new house on the property and plan on using the tractor to maintain the driveway, put in lawn, basic landscaping, and cleaning up after my wife's horses. ....

Opinions on MMM-vs-RFM are plentiful and every one is different. My RFM works well for me and it's EZ on, EZ off and doesn't get in the way of the loader. 'Nuff said.
