I will soon be getting a new TZ24da with FEL, MMM, and Rotary Mower. Their website has a specs page, but the weight of the items above is not listed, nor is the lenght, width. I want to start looking for a trailer, but need to know how much load the trailer needs to carry, as well as how long the trailer needs to be with everything attached to the tractor. I'd appreciate any help.

I just got a new TZ18DA about a week ago, I also was wondering about the specs before I got it.
My manual has the specs for both the 18, and the 24...for tractors, and the 54"/60" MMM.
I am at work now,(Fathers day afternoon/night!..waaa!)but would be glad to look in my manual, and give you the specs I have in the AM..
Let me know if you would like them.

OK, here goes.....
TZ24DA bare tractor weight---1320 lbs.
Length to end of draw bar-----80.6 inches.
Length with 3 pt hitch in horizontal position---96.3 inches.
Wheelbase-----------55.1 inches
Width, rear axle..outside to outside---45.9 inches.

I assume you want the 60" MMM??
If so, it weighs 264.6lbs(54" weighs 220.5lbs)

I recently brought a TZ24DA, but only have the 60" MMM. I got a 6.5' x 12' single axle trailer rated at GVW of 5000lbs. I also got the steel mesh drop down gate. I debated about going to a two axle trailer, but the smallest I could find was 16'. The trailer I got handles my tractor very well and the drop down gate is a great feature, the gate is removable. ....

Just my 2 cents, but I would never, ever haul a tractor with a single axle trailer. Definately go tandem. 12' tandems can be found everywhere. I have three trailers, not counting my bass rig and all are tandems. You'll value the extra axle when you find yourself with a flat or worse with a blow-out at 60 mph. ....

Doncordell, my trailer handles my tractor very well. I don't have a FEL, but would have plenty of room for it. If your trailer is only 6.0 ft wide the 60" MMM won't fit. I have to raise the grass chute to get my on at 6.5 ft.

As for a double axle trailer, I would agree with Bellaterra, two are better than one. The only flat tire I ever had on a trailer was on a double axle carrying a 45 or 50 hp Massy. I pulled a 18ft ski boat around on a single axle trailer for many years without the first problem. However, I only haul my tractor for short distances less than 10 miles, and only do it a couple times a month. I would upgrade to a two axle if I was hauling long distances and more often. ....

Thanks Guys,
I probably will go with a dual axel ASAP but for now I'm going to SQUEEZE it on mine.I can take the sides off to haul it and with it tied down I should be OK for a while.
When I get the backhoe for it I'll have to go the larger size. Does anybody know how heavy the FEL is?? I appreciate the help. God Bless ! Don. ....

Figure on at least 500 pounds for the loader and attachment hardware on a sub-cut. ....
