Just found this site and reg., so I'm new here. Just wanted to say Hello and will be checking in from time to time.

I have a 2610 Long that I bought new in 1997. Just traded an old 574IH with Long loader in for a new Farmtrac 80 with a new loader. Haven't gotten delivery yet. Waiting for the loader to be delivered and mounted. I hope the 80 Farmtrac will perform as well as the 2610 has. I drove it around the lot some. Love the sound of that 4 cyl. Perkins. Looking forwaed to getting it in the hay field and filling some hay barns with it.

Anyway I just wanted to say HI to everyone and already enjoy reading the threads here.

I'm located in S/C Va.

Hey Raleigh,
I think you are going to really like that FT80! We had a FT70 here that we just sold and I think it is a terrific value, the 80 is that and then some more!

Your dealer may have told you, that 12x12 shuttle is the same one that is a $2500 option on a certain green tractor!

Welcome, and keep us up to date. folks here enjoy a picture once in a while too!

Hi chipuren.
My dealer said the loader brackets are being changed for the FT 80. Also said they are moving into the new plant. Haven't heard anything yet from him on delivery of the loader and brackets.

I saw a new loader on a FT70 and sure like those quick attach pins. My son was happy too. He's always helped me change from the bucket to the hay spear and if the bucket wasn't setting just right it could take a while with plenty of time for some choice words to be used too.(LOL) That's a big improvement on the loader.

I believe the dealer said there is a 3 years warranty on the drive train. Good to see them back the product like that too. Sounds like the new plant will increase production quit a bit. I think he said they were sending out 4,000 units from the old plant per year and would now be able to ship out 12,000 per year.

I have a digital camera and when I get delivery I'll sure post a picture. Well I have to figure that picture posting out first.(grin)

Raleigh ....
