Hi All, Last evening our NH TC40D arrived...with a little trouble. Our delivery driver, got really poor driving directions on the web and ended up driving on miles of hilly gravel road and ended up stuck on a steep gravel hill, of course one mile short of paved road. I came down in our F250 turbo diesel and chained up to his truck. With both of us pulling we got up the rest of the gravel hills. We set up the lights at my house and ended up finishing unloading around 9:30 last evening. So today I am going out to play. I wanted to thank all of the members here for their help and information in regards to tractors. We ended up with the TC40D with SS, FEL, backhoe, chipper/shredder, pallet forks, log splitter, 5' cutter, industrial post hole digger, and 6' box blade. We went with Corriher for our purchase and were pleased. I will post pictures soon. Thanks Again All!! Gary

I'll add my congratulations as well. It sounds like you cleaned out the store! How did your Corriher experience go? What kind of chipper and log splitter did you get? I'm in the market for a chipper and splitter and would be interested to know how yours work out. ....

Congrats Gary! I wish my wife would let me spend that much money. I know how you feel this morning. When my TC29 was delivered, it was great. I was in tractor Heaven for a month or 2. I have a TC35 being delevered in a day or 2, and I hope I don't jump up and down like an 8 year old getting a Nintendo. At least not until the driver leaves. ....

gary, you, sir, are my kind of tractor buyer. congratulations. i'm sure you'll have lots of fun (and now, when you're just digging, pushing, or just driving, you can tell her you're "working") i love it.
question from one semi new owner to a new owner; how do you like the supersteer? i had never driven a tractor with it until mine was delivered (tc33d). i absolutely love it. it allows me to work in tight spaces, etc., like i never thought i could. i've read negatives, but i haven't experienced any. hope you like yours as well. again, congrats (hey, & if you need help "working" i can be bought "CheaP")
rjones ....

Well, I have 12 hours on this new tractor and am pleased with it. I have tried out the backhoe, chipper shredder, log splitter, fel, box blade, and forks. In regards to the chipper it is a Woods 5000. It worked really well chipping and pretty well shredding, however you do not want to put branches in with vines on it. It clogged up and stalled out the tractor. It only took a few minutes to unfasten two bolts and clean out the vine debris. It has a pretty powerful pull for shredding, it felt like it was going to yank me in. The log splitter is a Spee Co (made in Golden Colorado), a hydraulic driven one that attaches to the 3 point hitch. It worked great. You can operate it verticle or horizontal. My son (with my supervision) loved using it. Have not posted pictures yet, but will soon. ....
