Has anyone had experience using rear tire chains on a B2710 with R4 tires? I know this has been some discussion on tire chains. However, I would like to hear from those owning a B2710 or B2910 Kubota tractor.

I am using ladder chaines I got from tirechains.com. There is a cross section every 2 links. I have them on my B2910 with R4 tires. When I put them on, I was short about 2 ladder sections. Tirechains.com sent 4 new cross sections right out. There was enough room between the tire and fender, but it was close. You can see a picture of them on my tractor in the photos section of this site. I have a 1/2 mile, up hill, gravel drive in central NH which I clear with a 5 foot Meteor blower. I have had no problem at all with traction. Sometimes the front wheels slip a bit but not enough to warent front chains.
Hope this helps.

I have them on my 2910, and it is close. Especially on the bottom front of the inner fender, a bolt sticks out enough where it could create a problem if your chains loosened. ....

Has anyone put chains on the front r4's of a B2910? It doesn't look like there is enough room between the tire and steering assembly. If you have, what type?
