All-Curious if anyone has the same experience as me when pricing the Case DX Series Tractors. They seem to always run $800-1000 more for the DX45 vs the Boomer TC45D.I know they are the same tractor but I am slightly impartial to red but I don't know for 1000 dollars.Any advice/knowledge/experience would be appreciated.reBenjamin P. Ben,
I hear you on that the case dealer by me wanted more money for their Gear drive 29 hp then I paid for my TC29D to the tune of $1,400. I wasnt going to pay more for a base model tractor when I could buy the deluxe model for less.If you really want to pay more for a red paint job you are a better man then me another option is to buy the Boomer and paint it red I am sure it wont cost a GRAND! ....

We where told by our district managers when New Holland announced that case dealers would get our compact tractor that it would be priced 800-1000.00 more than the blue to keep New Holland Dealers happy. I did not think they would actually do this but from the post I have read it sounds like Mother Fiat has done this. ....

All-
Thanks for the info. I keep plugging away at multiple dealers and will let you know if I can get closer to the same price.

The impartiality is that my father in law has given my his Farmall Super C and Super M. I think all the red would look good. However I am going to drive the super steer---for the same price I can get a New Holland with Super Steer or a Red Tractor without Super Steer.

Thanks again.

The local NH dealer has both Case and NH. I quized him when I was looking at the blue and he said he would not stock the Case as it would be more. I did look at the red in fact I brought one home for a dig, but that was from the MF dealer. The price was right but I went for the green.
I'm afraid I have a lot of contrast at the moment, on my farm, a red MF, a green JD and a blue Ford.
What is wrong with the MF red? ....
