My apologies to A. Murphy, the Irish Rovers, and anyone else who has a vested interest in the original version of this song!Chorus: Oh, it is the biggest mix-up that you have ever seen. My Bota, she is Orange and me Deere, well it is green. Verse 1: My Bota came across the sea, Japanese was she. My Deere was made by Yanmar, it’s American as can be!?! They were both used every day, and worked out well enough, Until the day that I bought them, then things got rather rough. Chorus: Verse 2: Kubota made the B Series, and it is pretty neat,It pushes dirt and mows the grass, and never miss’ a beat.I blow the snow and dig the holes, and it really does run well,Until the day is over, and I hear the dinner bellChorus: Verse 3: The Deere’s another story. How are they built so tough?I bush hog fields all day, and they really are quite rough.With 4wd and Hydro, I really give ‘em Hell,Until the day is over, and I hear the dinner bell.Chorus: Verse 4: My Bota has a mower, so in summer it gets the nod.But the Deere it wears the backhoe, and with R4 tires it’s shod. They both have different uses, and I use them all the timeand if I’ve got a moment, I wax and make them shine.
