I am considering the purchase of a backhoe kit from METKIT. They will supply a prewelded kit (all necessary pieces to complete). They claim that it only needs to be assembled. Has anyone had any experience with this type of kit as to quality and ease of assembly? The kit is modeled off plans from CADPLANS CORP.

Robert, I just received a narrow bucket kit from Metkit for my caddigger, I built. Their quality of parts was excellent, but this was not a prewelded item. I'm not sure, but I beleive that Metkit is a spin-off company from Cadplans and I have had good service from both. I know this didn't exactly match your question, but hope it helps some. ....
