Charlie Charlie Charlie there is no L3133 either.

But the Kubota L series is a mighty fine tractor in any of its forms. Its a big machine. ....

Sir in my 56 plus year of equipment mechanic I've found that the hst systems are not really good, now that not to say that some of the big equipment manufacturers don't make good hydrostatic machines, they do. But smaller hp tractors loose pretty much 25% of there hp just on the hst, and the hst system doesn't have enough cooling Capability to make it work properly when its hot,and it's expensive to get repaired.conventional shift are more reliable and durable, and far less matenance is required. I have a friend here in FL that has a farm equipment repair shop, and he's been in it. For 55 plus years and he works on more Kubota tractors that any other, they aren't what they are blown up to be in my opinion, this is just my opinion kind regards Gary ....

Some of the claims here are, well, 'imaginative' at best. I run a small fleet of tractors in my operation.

We used to run all GST units but economics and the fact that Kubota only offers the GST transmission in open station format now means all my tractors are now HST units.

In both our 'real world' testing doing construction and contracting, and all the published testing I've seen to-date, the HST means a loss of somewhere between 2 to 5 hp.

Also based on that experience I can tell you that in recent hard work during 92 deg. heat (with the humidex in the upper 90's) and the A/C running none of them got anywhere close to running too hot.

Best of luck. ....
