I have relatively new BX23S and I think I should be a senior member of this club.

I would like to know the type of brakes and if they are very difficult to adjust or change?

I am new to this group!

Thanks!

The brakes on these tractors are almost never ever used unlike on a car. On a car you are free wheeling and have a ton of weight and speed and heat. On your BX that is not the case.

Forgetting to release the brake is not going to cause you any problems. But do not keep doin it :-(

Ever now and then you will see a post about the dangers of getting out of a tractor and brakes not set. Frankly I seldom ever set my brakes on any tractor. One reason is forgetting to release and did some driving but I am on basically level ground and normally have an implement on my tractor if using it. I found that is a good anchor IF it engages the ground. If not then no value.

If on a slope use all options to prevent it rolling. ....
