I have a cub cadet 7305 with a backhoe and loader on it. It always worked great. Now the problem I Have is the loader will lift, dump the only thing it won’t do is lower down. If it is raised and parked for the night it will be down in the morning. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like something has worked itself loose in the mechanism between the handle and the valve block. Since you can raise the bucket but not lower it, I'd guess you're pushing down on the valve stem to raise and the pulling-up doesn't work, A 5 minute repair once yuu get to where you can work on it.

Getting to this on these loaders isn't a lot of fun as you have to undo /all of the hydraulic hoses to the cylinders to get the cover off. If your joystick boot has disintegrated you might be able to peek inside without gettting messy.
You didn't mention which model loader you had; the main difference in the hydraulic controls is the 416 has an integrated pressure relief valve and the 417 has an outboard one.

Remember to release all pressure before breaking loose any hydraulic fittings. ....

If it is a remote valve, I.E. there is 2 large cables that run between the joystick and the valve block, you could have a broken wire or disconnected linkage at the valve. Everything would look normal from the joystick end.

See if you can see motion at the valve itself when you move the joystick with the engne OFF of course.

If all of that checks out the other likely cause could be a partially disconnected quick-disconnect fitting in that circuit.

Best of luck. ....
