Just had my 4010 stop functioning, I think something broke in the hydraulics, bush hog blade hit pretty hard but only the ground in the yard, no rock, no stump, just grass and dirt. but when it hit it started making noise like metal clinking against metal. Tractor moved afterwards but only about 10 ft. and then the hydrostatic petals turned to mush and now will not move forw. or back, lift and the bucket yet still working. Where do I begin to figure out whats going on.

A one word answer (transmission)? That's an expensive solution for sure. Could you give me any repairable possibilities, like a, oh it's just a clutch maybe or some thing-a-majig broke, and it's an easy fix kinda news. Come on, break it to me gently, I'd hate just scrap-un it? But if you know of a solution you'd like to share, I'd appreciate anyone's help. ....
