Need a tractor and I'm currently "tractor challenged"! Could sure use some advise on using/purchasing a 2008 Agtrac 3024 to maintain 12 hilly and brushy acres

That is a 30 hp diesel. When you say "maintain" the property, I am guessing that you mean periodically cutting the brush and weeds with a brush cutter. Generally, a 30 hp machine could handle a 5' brush cutter. Depending on the steepness of the hills, you would probably need some front and rear wheel weights, and I suggest that ROPS would be in order. 12 acres is a LOT of work for a machine that size, and a 5' cutter. I would not skimp of the quality of the cutter - think Woods, Rhino, or Brush Hog, not some cheap lightweight import or a tired used cutter.
I am not familiar with Agrac, but I would make sure that maintenance and repair parts are readily available. Some of those Chinese machines are "orphans" with no parts available at any price.

Thanks! Four acres will be mowing on a steep hillside. The used one I'm looking at has a front end loader attached and I'm hoping that will add needed weight.The other would be box bladeing gravel lane and cleared flat land along with some very hilly brush cutting. ....

PS Agtrac is needed located and assembled in Arkansas amd "supposedly" parts are not an issue. The '08 I'm looking at is around $8k w/ loader and older 4' mowing deck. Not sure if that's a good price or not. ....
