I am looking to buy a mower conditioner with a 7 foot cut. I seen that John Deere had a model 1207 and 1217. Visually they look the same. What is the difference between the two models?

1207 was built starting in the late seventies and built through the early eighties and the 1217 was introduced then and built into the ninties. ....
