You could test the safety cutoffs individually for a faulty one. Also, it's possible that some part like a battery connection disconnects when it gets hot. ....

Is it overheating when it shuts down? Does it have a manual fuel cut off? ....

It does not overheat and it does have a shutoff under the tank. ....

Not the tank shutoff; the fuel CUToff valve or solenoid at the injection pump.

In any event, it may have a vacuum at the tank vent preventing fuel flow---remove the cap and see if it goes away. If it does, the tank vent-to-atmosphere is plugged or the vents in the cap itself are plugged. ....

No, I think what EW was asking you was if the engine shuts off electrically with the key, or if you have to manually move a control like a knob or lever?

If it shuts off by the key, there will be a solenoid on or near the injector pump that releases the fuel pressure back to the return line to starve (kill) the engine.

By your description then, that solenoid is what is causing you grief.

Best of luck. ....

New filters, OK was it doing this before or after new filters were installed? If before were the filters changed thinking that was the issue? If after change the fuel filter could be bad. It could be gelled fuel or trash in fuel tank moving over fuel outlet stopping fuel flow and when it sits the vacuum or suction on the trash releases the trash allowing about 15 minutes of fuel to fill system until fuel begins to flow again and just like leaves in a stream the trash is pulled back over the outlet.

If you can see in the tank look with good flashlight but the next time it stops if you have a clear filter does it have fuel or empty. If not a clear fuel filter loosen it enough to see if fuel is freely flowing.

Oh then it is possible you have a rat's or insect nest in the air intake stopping the air flow. But with the run time you mention look at fuel being stopped. ....
