The battery on my 2003 Case 570LXT went dead. I jumped it, 12v, and it started up fine, but the alternator was not putting out any voltage. I replaced the alternator but that did not fix the problem. I took a 12v jump to the D+ contact of the alternator and it started to work. I checked the ignition switch and it only has 3 volts to it. I there a relay or something somewhere that controls the votage to the D+ side?

I don't know the Case line but Yanmar owners are always replacing the battery, starter, alternator, wiring, key switch when it just needs a new voltage regulator. ....
