I currently have a Bulldog backhoe attached to my JD 770 tractor's 3pt hitch. I don't like the way the backhoe moves on the 3pt when I drive with it on. Should I use a "subframe" of something else to make it more stable.

Thanks...

Scott;
A three point hitch backhoe is kinda bad business whether on a compact or a full size farm tractor, the three point hitches weren't designed for that much abuse. The top link is usually the weakest point to give way and I've heard of, but not seen personallly, of a couple tractors that had a chunk of casting torn out of thr rear housing where the top link is attached.
I'd check with the backhoe company to see if a subframe is available. I have a neighbor who built his own subframe after a bad experience with a farm tractor three point.
