Hello to you all, i have a kubota 2ton tracked dumper, i think it is a 1997 model but one of the tracks does not go round anymore. when i pull on the lever for the drive it just makes a clonking sound as if the track is slipping on the drive cog, but this is not the case. it sounds as if it is coming from inside the casing behind the drive cog. any ideas. regards jeff

I have to think there is some sort of splined coupler between the drive motor and the sprocket/shaft. I know from working with small excavators--it's gonna be expensive.

Have you made sure the track is properly tightened? ....
