I am looking for aftermarket parts for my John Deere Gator Turf. I need new gears for the rear end. If anybody knows of anyplace that sells aftermarket parts please help me!!!

John Deere has most of its suppliers in its back pocket so there are very few after market parts available. Accessories yes, parts no. Your best bet is to find a used machine, but the rears are usually the first thing to go in the Turf. Happy hunting........ ....

There's a guy here named lschaeffer who has some experience with repairing bad gears. I don't know if he can help you on the Gator gears but it might be worth asking. Click on this link for a thread that discusses this. ....

I wonder if the rear gaers are used in something else--like golf carts, commercial indoor transport trucks, etc. I say that because it atypical for a manufacturer to develop new parts when there is something off-the-shelf they can use with little or no rework involved. ....

Alos I'd check out surpluscenter.com. They have axles--2wd and 4wd from small vehicles that may work. Sometimes in the ad copy they spell out what make and model they came from. A call to them may increase your luck as there may be some hidden for years they have been trying to off. Just a guess. ....
