Have owned a MF 1020 with 1100 hrs for one week. Operated it befored I purchased it and after I brought it home and everything worked fine. Has sat in my garage for 7 days and today cranked it and pressed in the clutch, tried to put it in gear and it grinded, would not go in gear...seems the clutch is not working. Any help would be appreciated.......

I recently sold a tractor that had the same problem--it was honey bees that nested in the flywheel housing.

I have heard of rust developing in the clutch area and even clutches rusting to the flywheel. But 7 days is awfully short for that to happen. Have you tried several times to loosen her up by depressing the clutch? ....
