(Chuckling and thinking outload now), wouldn't it serve marketing to change the name to something other than Cub Cadet--especially for something that is larger. Yeah, I know there's a long history for the words Cub and Cadet. But those are passe'. I surely wouldn't show up on a job site with something that says "CUB CADET" without fear of being laughed at. I get enough crap about having a NEW, HOLLAND! ....

These are powerful for their size (and name). I bet the first skid-steers were laughed at too.
Anybody know in what way they're Yanmars, in what way Cub Cadets? And where they're made?

It has been fantastic with both Great Names! The Cub Cadet Name is strong among the Lawn & Garden Tractors and the Yanmar Name is strong among the John deere people and construction side. Alot of these tractors have been selling to the John Deere people. As most of you know, Back when John Deere got their name in the Compact tractors, Yanmar made john deere for many many years and Still makes a few models for them. They also build alot of the engine's and transmission's for them. ....

Anybody know in what way they're Yanmars, in what way Cub Cadets? And where they're made?
Yanmar basically builds the Tractor, Cub cadet builds the loaders But Yanmar tests them! I believe Ameriquip builds the Backhoe's. It's all put together in GA
This has been a Great Combination!! ....
