The Stabil web site says that Stabil is effective in gasoline and diesel fuel.

It also says that it's safe for E-10 gasoline.

What it doesn't say is if the ethanol in E-10 negates the effectiveness of Stabil.

Anyone know for sure? Would their Marine Ethanol product be better in E-10?

The only thing I know about fuels is that they're expensive. But I've been told that 10% ethanol has no effect except an almost imperceptable decrease in gasoline's output.

The only thing I know about additive websites is that they're as credible as the tooth fairy.

But I do know that the sulphur in diesel acted somewhat as a lubricant. And that engine makers have modified their products to be OK on our present low-sulphur fuel. Where that leaves owners of older diesels, I don't know. Most guys seem to think it's a good idea to add a product that increases the lubricity. ....
