I did, Sunday. :(
After enjoying a nice morning tinkering in the yard with my gal I decided I would bring the box blade into the shop. I've been meaning to weld a couple of hooks onto it to hold chains, and she has been wanting to watch / learn to weld.
Everything was going well until I got out of the machine after backing it into the shop and noticed that one of the rear tires was on an air line. So, being extremely careful to keep an eye on her while she held the air line, I pulled forward to release it.
Next thing I know there's a terrible noise and it's raining, SAFETY GLASS!!!
I did something I NEVER do, moved the machine with a door open.
Sure enough, Murphy's Law at it's finest, I now have a $806 pile of broken glass instead of a right hand door.
Oh well, at least nobody got hurt.
Hope everybody had (is having) a better weekend than me. :)

Yeah, my weekend was cheaper than yours though. I dropped the hood guard to raise the hood and do some engine maintenance. I then shut the hood and forgot to raise and latch the hood guard.
After lunch I went out to do some work and in the process raised and lowered the loader. When the loader was raised the hood guard rode up over the loader crossbar and then dropped below it. That wasn't a problem until the loader was then lowered - at that point the loader crossbar pushed down the hood guard which hit against the latch that locks the loader in place. It bent the crap out of the hood guard.
Oh well, easy to replace and a lot cheaper than $806.

Material things are easy to replace, even if they are often expensive.
Glad to hear nobody got hurt. That's the main thing.
A friend of mine had one rough day last summer. He was out brush cutting between the tree rows, when a gopher ran under his rotary mower. Right on the gopher's tail was his little dog. Not a pleasant thing to have to watch.

Besides a little rain, a friend and I installed a set of F1 Mach 1.6 injectors and an Edge EZ on my truck. All I can say is WOW! What a difference in power. The injectors added about 90 hp and the Edge EZ added about another 65 hp.
Now I am concerned about the clutch slipping and it smokes like 3 freight trains when I get on it hard. I have a little fine tuning and troubleshooting to do now.
Sorry to hear about the door Murf. Glad nobody got hurt. I think we all have done something like that a time or 2.

Yup, as my friend says, "poop happens". ;)
The main thing was that nobody got hurt.
Chief, don't fret about the clutch too much, my truck has been running big horsepower through a standard clutch for several years now without any issue.
You'll break springs and burn up tires long before you hurt the clutch. Don't ask how I know. ;)
