Hi guys , my dad's got a cub late 40's-early 50's , that has a sickle bar mower ,he's been trying to find parts for it ,he was told it was bought at an auction years ago, he thinks it could be a model 22 ??, the one he has looks like it has IH stamped on parts of it, along the bar , its a 5' long bar , would anyone have a good source for parts , he's tryed TSC , thank you for any help , Craig.

I have an entire working mower for $250.00 plus shipping. I could remove the bar and strap it to a large pallet for truck shipment. It is the model with single, swivel rear tire. I don't know the model number but sounds like the same thing. It originally mounted to an IHC model A. ....

Yopper; If yours has a single rear caster wheel and bolts to the rear drawbar of the tractor it is likely a model 27V. I may have not saw all the sickle mowers for a Cub, but to my knowledge they only offered a side mount five ft. ....

I forgot about your parts question, likely your best source is a Case/IH dealer. I restored my 1947 Cub a couple years ago, they had everything I needed. Frank. ....

I found the web site, but I cant find a phone number! or dealers numbers!, I think the sickle bar is a #cub22 model, I found pictures of it on the web and a manuel on ebay , but do not know if the manuel has the parts listing , I guess I have more research to do ! , Craig ....
