I bought a used 430 Max about a year ago, and have a slip scoop, deck, edger and blower. The blower's a bit loud, but I usually wear ear protection anyway. I like the tractor, and hope to get duals in the near future. I saw the ventrac 4000. Man, it looks nice too! Anyway, Thanks CTB for adding a new topic.

I'm currently looking into getting the foot control for my Ventrac 4000. I like the ability to go forward or backwards with my foot while I am using my hand to control the front implement. ....

Check "venturepro.com" for a quiet blower that also has a discharge that rotates 180 degrees. Rotation is done by the tractor's auxiliary hydraulic circuit just like a snow blower chute. ....

Jack:

I haven't put the foot pedal on the tractor yet. The funds are a little low after buying the thing, but I plan to do so in the next month or so. In the meatime, I have been using it quite successfully with the slip scoop, moving dirt and such. I'm kind of getting used to the hand controls. ....

I found a new use for my slip scoop. Going on the comment made by my dealer that the slip scoop is kind of like a wheelbarrel, I used it to hold a batch of cement that I mixed in it. At that point, it was pretty easy to move over to where I was making a step for my deck. I then just hosed things down and had a clean tractor. ....

Well, I just found out that the local Steiner dealer might be picking up the Venture Products line as well. At least he is considering it. This would make for an interesting decision when I decide to buy my next tractor. ....
