massey 35 leaking oil from weephole.i split tractor in half and am trying to remove the main drive gear(clutch shaft) and can pull it out about 2 inches.does the pto shaft need to be removed to get this out

If you don't have a service manual for your model 35 Massey, please contact SSBTractor. They have manuals for many Model 35 tractors, but I'm not familiar enough with the various imported versions to know which manual you'll need.
