I need at least 3 or more of the bolts for the blades. They seized and had to be drilled out to get the blades off.:(

if drilled out, did you have to retap threads? if so you should be able to buy hardened bolts locally,

for installing use anti seize compound, purchased at auto supply, will keep future bolts from seizing to avoid problem ....

I'm open to anything. One place couldn;t get them out so I found a place that did. I don't think the threads are damaged and weren't retapped/rethreaded. I went back to the 1st palace to see if they had bolts. The bolt head is round and countersunk into the blade and accepts a hex wrench, again for purpose. The 1st place had DR bolts but too short. I could use longer and trim them to length if I find them. Or, if I find a bolt that has a different thread but long enough I could tap/thread. Not sure anything there is hardened and maybe not able to be tapped etc. The original bolts would be nice. Thanks for the help. Respond anytime as I can use any help.:) ....

Just measure up what you have (or take it with you) and go to any good fastner supplier. Any major town has at least one.

What you are looking for is called a "grade 5 socket cap screw" and will be further described by it's diameter and length, i.e. 5/8" x 2".

There is such a wide variety of stuff available I can't believe you won't find what you need fairly locally. In fact you can usually find stuff like that in the bulk nuts & bolts at your local building center. Just be sure you are getting grade 5 hardware.

Best of luck. ....

Thought I was in a real bind on this. This forum gives me hope. Thanks for this info. I will look at fastner suppliers and since the bolts would have been produced in bulk I would think they are out there. I would never have known about the grade etc. Thanks again. ....
