"...not getting gas to fuel filter."

Is a pretty brief description of the problem.

Empty gas tank, fuel shut-off valve closed, air lock, pinched or kinked fuel line..... take your pick.

Maybe describing when and how it showed up first would help, I take it this is a recent problem.

Best of luck. ....

I had that problem a week ago with my CC1862.

Seems my renters put in some gas from a dirty can and plugged the hole and hose going from the tank to fuel filter. I used a nozzle from my air compressor and back blew it out. I siphoned out the gas and wiped out the tank as good as I could. There were all sorts of "gunk" junks in the gas. It has run a couple of hours since without a problem.

P.S. Keep your head clear from the gas cap when back blowing it out. Kinda sprays a little when she lets loose. ....

lbrown, did you open the tank to check the amount of gas? If so and the air vent was clogged there should have been some sound but you may not have notice but the cap being off would have allowed the gas to have flowed so if you open the gas cap and it still does not flow there must be something in the line stopping it.

I had a gas line that turned to gel on a small engine from inside out. Was har to find. Had an insect get stuck in fuel line inside tank once, did about same as your's. kt ....

From time to time they have had some problems with the plastic tanks when assembling they would get small pieces that would plug the lines. Yours was easier to fix!!! ....
