Wondering if anyone has had experience with Landpride or Frontier or Woods overseeders. What are the strong or weak points. Looking to get into a lawn seeding business and checking which drill would be the best overall unit. Any input would be appreciated.
TIA

I am looking for the best all around unit for new tilled lawn installs as well as lawn renovation (oversedding). The Woods is a ground driven unit and I wondered if it had as good of emergence of new grasses as the pto powered Landpride or Frontier brands. I am looking for the most bang for the bucks.
TIA ....

I will be seeding into a variety of soil types from sand to heavy clays. The Woods renovator is quite a bit cheaper than the Landpride overseeder but I have concerns about seed to soil contact without the pto slit cuts.
TIA ....

In the past i've noted that in stones the PTO units tend to throw them where the ground drive doesn't. Grass seed normall only needs 1/4 inch of loose soil so you might want to be sure you won't be doing more then needed. PTO might need more wear replacement parts because of the positive drive. ....
