I bought a used Cub Cadet lawn tractor. After about a month of use, it began to fail to respond in reverse if there is any resistance at all.
I changed the trasmission oil and filter, checked the linkage, no help.
It will back up very slowly untill it meets resistance,
ie a small hill, a stick etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cub Cadet lawn tractor's go back into the late seventies and there have been a lot of changes over the years. ....
